Artec Industries is excited to announce our new JL Shield. The New JEEP JL front axle now includes a new Center Axle Disconnect (CAD) system for improved fuel efficiency. This new inclusion on the axle features a very thin sheetmetal skid plate from the factory which is prone to bending and denting, Not to mention being a rock magnet itself. Artec Industries is the First Company To Address This Vulnerable Part. Our new JL SHIELD is constructed from Heavy Duty 1/4 inch thick steel. Twice the thickness of the OEM skid plate. The new design also uses countersunk flat head bolts for improved smoothness on the bottom...meaning you'll have less edges to catch on rocks. To improve the smoothness, we've eliminated unnecessary edges and extended the leading edge to the front of the axle and included an angled flange to protect the axle and allow rocks to glide under. The JL SHIELD is fully welded and hard powdercoated for direct bolt-on installation and a long life. All this at a PHENOMENAL PRICE and manufactured in-house which means its MADE IN THE USA!

JK Front LCA Skids - These heavy duty skids are designed to take serious abuse and reinforce your JL front axle lower control arm brackets. The 1/4 inch thick precision cut and formed components of this setup mean they'll install easily and protect your brackets and lower control arms.

JK Inner C Gussets - These heavy duty inner C gussets are designed to take serious abuse and reinforce your front Dana 30 or 44 JK Inner C's. The 1/4 inch thick precision cut and formed components precisely contour and wrap around your inner c and add rigidity.

JK APEX Trackbar Brackets - One of the weakest components of your factory axle is the axle side Trackbar bracket and it's typically one of the main reasons for death wobble. Our new Heavy Duty Trackbar brackets are designed to work with our new APEX Truss and eliminate the issues caused by weak factory brackets.

They are seriously beefy and ready to take the abuse not to mention raise your steering stabilizer up and out of the way of rocks. For those running smaller lifts and are using an adjustable Trackbar mounting to the the factory location, choose Stock Height. The Ultimate Steering Solution for your Superduty Axle Swap Premium Front Axle Aluminum Steering Kit for your Jeep

For the Past 5 Years, we've been testing 7075 Aluminum Steering in the ARTECON to ensure that they could handle the abuse of both extreme, heavy duty rock crawling and normal daily driving.

We've been pleased with how they've handled the rigorous abuse and how much weight is saved by using is compared to standard steel tubing. This is the exact steering used in our Gladiator on Superduty axles.

The Superduty Swap Aluminum Steering Kit starts with our 1.75 inch Outer Diameter, Aerospace grade 7075 Aluminum rods. These are mated with Made In Amercia Premium Tie Rod Ends designed after those in the Ford F-450 and are the beefiest and longest lasting in the industry.

Seriously, The Biggest Tie Rod Ends We'Ve Ever Seen.

The tie rod and drag link ends are offset to account for the short arms on the superduty knuckles but give you great steering feel and no contact with the differential. These are coupled with stainless steel spacers and adapters to allow you to fit it exactly to your new axle.

Each link is threaded with both a Right Hand thread and a Left Hand thread at opposite ends so it is easy to adjust the length alignment. We've also included wrench flats on each end of the aluminum link so you can easily tighten your jam nuts without marring the aluminum.

Simply choose which vehicle: Jeep JL/JT or a JK. The only difference is the drag link end at the pitman arm.

From there, you can add on additional components such as high steer arms and Reid knuckles so you can attach the steering to the vehicle if you haven't already purchased them previously.

These components are all offered separately as an add-on item since many have either already purchased some of these items. If you need everything, just click the check boxes next to the appropriate accessories.

You will need the passenger side Reid Racing knuckle, Artec Aluminum Superduty High Steer Arm with studs and the Artec Superduty High Steer Spacer to bolt this kit directly into a vehicle.
