When you’re trying to make power, airflow is critical. Reducing restriction within the intake and exhaust systems is the most sensible way to improve engine efficiency. However, if you have a 1.8T/2.0T MK7 with an upgraded air intake, there might be something you’re missing. The air intake system on the MQB platform mates to the turbocharger via a plastic turbocharger inlet pipe. Our team has found that this component is quite restrictive and in desperate need of enhancement. Mishimoto’s Turbo Inlet Pipe for the MK7 chassis is constructed from durable, CNC-machined cast aluminum. Compared to the stock plastic unit, this is far more durable and eliminates any chances of long-term part degradation. Along with durability, we’ve also increased internal volume and enhanced the pathway of air. These design alterations result in significant improvements in airflow and a quicker turbo spool. This turbo inlet pipe fits with the stock intake, the Mishimoto Performance Intake , and most aftermarket intake systems. No tuning is required for installation, although the benefits of this component will amplify as more upgrades are made on your MK7. As with all Mishimoto MK7 products, this inlet pipe includes our signature Mishimoto Lifetime warranty.

Our engineers spent months fine-tuning this design in an attempt to squeak out every last bit of performance. This dyno-proven air intake provides 20 whp/18 wtq gains over the stock intake while maintaining safe air/fuel ratios, perfect for some extra punch on the street or autocross course. The Mishimoto Subaru 2015-2017 STI Performance Air Intake includes everything needed for installation, installs in under one hour, and works perfectly with the stock tune. The mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe is available with a red or black powder-coated finish or a polished aluminum finish. This pipe utilizes the Mishimoto air straightener and CNC-machined mass airflow sensor (MAF) housing to provide accurate and consistent MAF readings, which translates into a smooth power band. To reduce air intake temperatures (IATs), the air filter has been placed outside the hot engine bay, and a powder-coated heat shield prevents any heat-soak from occurring. The Mishimoto free-flowing air filter provides a 16% greater surface area, optimal airflow, and proper filtration of dirt and debris. The included Mishimoto oiled air filter is completely serviceable, allowing for a lifetime of reliable use. Additionally, this kit includes a silicone coupler, clamps, and all other hardware necessary to complete a quick installation for easy bolt-on power. A rubber cap is provided to place over the sound symposer housing. Our engineers have put a lot of RandD hours into the Mishimoto Performance Intake for the 2016-2024 Chevy Camaro 2.0T. We went through several designs to get to where we are now, and this will truly wake up your LGT motor with the help of extra air surging through your system. This kit fits all two-liter 2016 Camaros and will provide dyno proven performance gains of 21hp and 18ft-lbs of torque. We also improved pressure drop by over 40-percent, giving you increased airflow over stock. The airbox is made of steel and powder-coated black to help fight air intake temperatures, while our MAF housing is made of a glass-reinforced, plastic-injected mold with a built-in air straightener. The intake elbow is made of a five-ply silicone with steel wire reinforcement to prevent misshaping under vacuum and keep the engine heat at bay. The silicone design is an improvement over the bulky plastic intake elbow, replacing the stock sound suppression chamber attached to the turbo and giving you smoother airflow throughout. We performed hundreds of miles of road testing to ensure the safety of running it on a completely stock motor, so no tune is required!
