Do I need UCAs (Upper Control Arms) with a 2–3" lift?
Often yes—UCAs recover caster and improve ball-joint angle, which helps tracking and tire wear, especially with 33–35 inch tires.
Will KDSS limit my lift height?
KDSS works fine with the right parts and bump-stop spacing. We keep droop and line lengths within safe ranges.
Do I need a diff drop on a 3rd-gen Tacoma?
Not always. We evaluate CV angles and travel; many 2–2.5" kits don’t require it with proper shock/spring choice.
Best gears for 35s?
Typically 4.88–5.29 depending on trans, tire size/weight, intended use, and highway RPM preference. We’ll confirm for your build.
Will aftermarket upgrades to my Toyota void my factory warranty?
No—thanks to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, your dealer can’t void your entire warranty just because you installed aftermarket parts. They must prove the modification directly caused the failure.

Example: If you install LED fog lights and later have a transmission issue, the dealer can’t deny coverage. But if you regear improperly and the diff fails, that repair may not be covered. Bottom line: quality installs matter.
