When you’re trying to make power, airflow is critical. Reducing restriction within the intake and exhaust systems is the most sensible way to improve engine efficiency. However, if you have a 1.8T/2.0T MK7 with an upgraded air intake, there might be something you’re missing. The air intake system on the MQB platform mates to the turbocharger via a plastic turbocharger inlet pipe. Our team has found that this component is quite restrictive and in desperate need of enhancement. Mishimoto’s Turbo Inlet Pipe for the MK7 chassis is constructed from durable, CNC-machined cast aluminum. Compared to the stock plastic unit, this is far more durable and eliminates any chances of long-term part degradation. Along with durability, we’ve also increased internal volume and enhanced the pathway of air. These design alterations result in significant improvements in airflow and a quicker turbo spool. Our engineers have put a lot of RandD hours into the Mishimoto Performance Intake for the 2016-2024 Chevy Camaro 2.0T. We went through several designs to get to where we are now, and this will truly wake up your LGT motor with the help of extra air surging through your system. This kit fits all two-liter 2016 Camaros and will provide dyno proven performance gains of 21hp and 18ft-lbs of torque. In stock form, you’d be hard-pressed to hear the difference between the Z’s 400 horsepower, twin-turbo, 3.0L V6 and an Altima. But, with a little ingenuity and Mishimoto’s performance intake, you can squeeze more sound, and more power, from your 2023+ Nissan Z.----The Mishimoto 2023+ Nissan Z performance intake gives you the power you expect from your Z with the sound it should have had from the factory. Our intake features a unique convertible design that allows you to quickly switch between closed airboxes for cool intake temps, or open airboxes for serious sound. Switching between the two setups is a simple matter of removing three bands and removing the airbox lid. With open airboxes, the Mishimoto intake system reduces restriction by up to 42 percent, and significantly increased induction sound, while the closed airboxes reduced restriction by 25 percent. The improved flow also results in power gains of over 6 HP and 4.8 lb-ft. of torque with the airboxes closed. Our airboxes also feature enlarged fresh air ducts to ensure cool air for your turbos.----Flow, power, and sound are all great, but they’re useless without safety and reliability. Our airboxes are constructed from rotational-molded XLPE that safely insulates the intake air from engine bay heat. The CNC-machined aluminum MAF housings are precisely designed to ensure accurate and safe readings, even on the stock tune. Finally, our high-flow conical filters increase effective filtration area by 20 percent, ensuring ample flow, without sacrificing clean air. More and more vehicles are being sold with a 'sound symposer' system on their engines. This basically pumps engine noise into the cabin of the vehicle so the driver can experience the sound and rush of the engine accelerating under load. However, some customers choose not to have this sometimes obtrusive noise constantly being drawn into their car. Some people have come up with quick and easy solutions to remove this system. Mishimoto has developed a system that fits a variety of vehicles. The system features an aluminum CNC plug with a Mishimoto logo to place in the intake hose as well a rubber cap to install onto the sound diaphragm. Installation is a snap and will take about 10 minutes to complete. Now you can enjoy a quieter ride!
